If anyone has suggestions/good experiences, they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Groovy 7
Played early before Endymion ball. Do a lot of local weddings too. Don't know how much they charge but they're really good!
Lots of videos of them playing online too.

Went to one where Deacon John played a couple of years ago and his band was very very good at a wedding.

No Idea, Topcats, Wiseguys, Boogiemen, Summer Breeze, Bucktown Allstars (mentioned), etc. on the high price end. A good dance band on lower end The Soul Express, play all Motown dance for weddings!

Topcats
Groovy7
Bucktown Allstars
those will run you about $2500 for 3 hours. May be more now. But that's what they were in 2008 when I was looking into bands.
In the end we opted for a full jazz/swing band that was $1500 called the Jerry Embree Band. I really liked them.

Definitely more, a friend of mine daughter wedding in 2010 cost him $5K for those Topcats!

Thanks for all the suggestions. Budget will probably be 3-4 thousand range. Anyone heard of Chicken on the Bone? They came up when searching and look like a fun band

I wanna say Rockin' Doopsie and the zydeco twisters was about $5000 back in 2008. They would be an awesome band to have.

Mixed Nuts are better than any cover band mentioned in this thread.
