Wow, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but Argo is WAY better than Looper IMO
Ben Affleck's acting has been down hill for a long time. And honestly, that last scene seemed to be ridiculously over-dramatized and fake. Really left me disappointed in an otherwise entertaining movie. I do think the casting for Argo (besides Affleck) was fantastic and spot on.
But everyone is entitled to their opinion
ETA: and it also might have a lot to do with my expectations going into both movies: expected a lot from Argo, didn't really expect anything except an action flick from Looper

Argo SPOILERS BELOW
You mean the whole them chasing down the plane? Yea I doubt that actually happened but it worked well to add a little tension, their plan couldn't have just gone off flawlessly. I actually thought the ending of Looper was kind of dumb and predictable

Potential Argo SPOILERS (and definite thread hijack)
yeah. It was already pretty suspenseful and tense. That was overkill and just unnecessary.
Also, the entire movie felt like hollywood giving themselves a tug job for helping out in this situation when in reality it was just the 2 guys

I dk, I thought they did a good job showing how easy it was to trick actors and media into believing this BS movie idea. Plus filming a movie almost fricked everything up at the end

which added to that unnecessary dramatization...

I voted for Looper in the Roscoes. I think it was the best film of last year, and what I like about the resolution is that everyone's motivations not only make sense, you have watched them act on these motivations for the entire movie. It's not sleight of hand. OF COURSE you saw the ending coming. It wasn't a movie that was trying to trick you. Honestly, it ended the only way it could end.
I saw the ending of Argo coming as well. For rather obvious reasons.

Looper, didn't really care for seven psychopaths.

I'm not one to bash Looper, I expected a lot because of the cock slobbering it got on here and was severely disappointed, just wasn't very good to me at all and I'm a huge JGL and Bruce Willis fan. Just wasn't impressed at all, it wasnt a bad movie, just over hyped

7 psychopaths.
I just finished it and absolutely loved it. The randomness of it all is well done. Like organized chaos. I really liked looper, and it may in fact be the better of the two films, but 7P was much more enjoyable.
