The first time you shot your AR build ?
Im bout done just waiting on the upper.
Are all the pins set, bolt proper, barrell alingment correct ?
Has the first "squeeze" always been good with no boom, boom surprises ?

My wife thinks I'm going to blow myself up. She hasn't been impressed with my craftsmen-like skills.

You're not building a revolver. There won't be any problems.

There's only one way to find out if you got it right.
I was a little nervous the first time I fired mine. I still have my face and all 10 fingers.

First mag you run through it is so fulfilling, especially when you see how accurate the bastards are.

Tie it to a tree and run a string from the trigger to you. Stand behind another tree...
It's quite simple.

And that dude just reached down and slapped another mag in that SOB like nothing ever happened!!! Maybe if I was in a firefight trying to survive by taking out some tangos, I might do that to. But this MF's is in shorts, stretch shirt, and a dang baseball cap on a putt putt course for dog's shat sake! Easy Trigger!

Those both looked like squib rounds.
That's why it's important to find out why a gun didn't fire before you try to force something.

yeh...I dont understand what the big arse hurry is to slap another round in there and squeeze off again???
If my shat doesnt fire...Im more worried about why it didnt fire and less worried about getting the next round off???

Not to mention it's really not that hard to break down an AR. You can physically see the malfunction with your own eyes instead of guessing and risking both the gun and your safety.

BTW....wutt dat?

An under primed or powdered round that has enough power to remove the projectile from the casing but it doesn't exit the barrel. When you force feed another round and fire it then you have two projectiles hitting mid barrel not to mention a shite load of pressure since it can't escape out of the barrel.
