I like Noel too. Just not next to Davis.

Body-wise those guys are identical and we've seen how much Davis has struggled with nba strength. That's not something that will change in one offseason. Its gonna be years before he's strong enough to really bang with nba big men. It will be the same with Noel.

Offensively, at least Davis has a 15 ft jumper to use until he gets strong enough for the post. Noel doesn't have those skills

I just don't like having two 220 lb C/PFs

Am I the only one who really likes MCW? I know he (and Syracuse for that matter) is struggling as of late, but this kid was doing a masterful job of running the Cuse offense. He is long, athletic, and a play-maker. I think he is definitely a future starting pg in the Association.

Noel is definitely stronger than Davis is. And no, not great offensively, but guys like Tyson Chandler, Ben Wallace, Kendrick Perkins have been NBA champion centers recently.

Serge Ibaka for the Thunder....invaluable to the team..reminds me a lot of Noel.

All these guys are key defensive cogs and rim protectors. Very important. Just think if we have 2.

he wouldnt need them. He blocks 5 shots a game. Couple that with Davis' shot blocking capabilities, i dont think their size matters too much
