No. If he was in the same draft as Davis, Davis would still be consensus #1. He's widely considered #1, but that has more to do with a weak draft than him being that good.

You know it's a bad draft when the likely top pick is a big man that hasn't played basketball in 3 months after suffering a catastrophic knee injury.
