...With Bale and Cavill, too.

Holy fricking shite. If true, this could be legendary. And from the article, it looks like the guys who broke this have an amazing track record.

I am absolutely praying that this happens.

I believe that DC has better characters compared to Marvel. Those characters will finally be getting the treatment they deserve.

Dear god please let this happen. Major wood when this is confirmed once and for all.

Though his premise of how they'd meet is pretty flimsy. I won't hold it against him...

If this is true, Man of Steel must really be as good as rumored. Holy shite WB is just saying frick it and making sure this is a hit.

Good for them. If true..

As much as I want WB do undertake JL, I don't want Bale to be a part of it. Not that he couldn't have been Wayne/Batman prior to Nolan's universe, but he really can't be now. The suggestion at the end that he'd come out of retirement AGAIN is just stupid. The guy could barely walk.

Nah...they need to reboot Bats with another actor in a universe that could support the JL and the fantastic things that could happen in it. Nolan's universe just doesn't support that. And Nolan's Bat would be more useless in it than Black Widow standing next to Thor.

I would support Nolan Godfathering the whole thing though...just not using what he's already done with Bats. Plus...I was never a huge Bale as Batman fan anyway.

frick I hope this doesn't happen. Nolan's Batman should be done. He had a completed arc. People don't go to a Batman movie to see Christian Bale (people tend to bitch about him actually), they go to a Batman movie to see Batman and Nolan's spin on the universe. This is no longer an actor driven system in Hollywood. Putting Bale in it wouldn't really increase the profits. Nolan's, sure, but not Bale's. Let the Nolan's series just die and start from scratch with a new Batman movie, but please leave the origins out.

If JGL had been revealed as Dick Grayson instead of some schmo named Robin, I could see a film in which Bale, as Bruce Wayne, passes the torch to JGL, as Dick Grayson, who takes up the mantle in the Justice League. They could then spin it off into a Nightwing thing if they wanted. But Nolan fricked it up, imo. Granted, Nightwing/Robin doesn't have to be Dick Grayson, but it would piss me off if some rando was named as Batman/Nightwing/Robin. But whatever. They'll figure it out.
