After studying those numbers, I can't disagree with anything written there. More importantly, it's a great indication why the defense sucks...too much money for so little return.

Greer is good too. Every CB is beat, but he's our #1 CB and a good one.
I think Greer gets too much grief for last year and not enough consideration for having a sports hernia operation in Aug. It's a wonder he was able to play as well as he did.

Jed Collins should be on the best value list. Full backs are typically put on the back burner when it comes to recognition, but Collins is one of the best FBs in the league and is gunna make only $500,000 this season.

Notice 7 of the 10 worst value guys are defensive players. We've had to overcompensate for our poor defensive drafting by signing these guys to big contracts, either through free agency, or once their 2nd contract comes up.
this needs to change, big time.

You just want to give him none of the credit while sliding him all of the blame.

Free agent Players Signed on the list:
Who did we over pay for? Jabari Greer? Jonathan Vilma? Scott Shanle? You fricking kidding me on any of these players.
2nd contract guys we paid BECAUSE of their success... you get it BC OF THEIR success, kind of debunks your theory of they suck at drafting:
Harper and Will Smith
Guys under rookie contracts: Ellis and MJ.
Mickey has nothing to do with those "contracts per say". I don't think Jenkins has proven to be a bad pick per say. YOu can certainly place equal blame on coaching in these scenarios for player development as you can the blame on mickey for drafting them.

All were very good team friendly contracts and we got great production out of every single one of them players. Once again, you give Mickey NO frickING credit for bringing in defensive talent at a good cost to our team. You have zero point. Most players end up restructuring deals towards the end of the 5 year deals and/or get cut. Vilma would be overpaid moving forward, not necessarily overpaid in 2011 or prior. Same with Jabari and Shanle was great deal for a starting LB with very good production for his contract. Your opinion is asinine.

then why do we have 15 players restructuring their contracts?
Posted on 3/4/13 at 2:40 pm to Lester Earl
Because we trying to contend every year.
Posted on 3/4/13 at 2:44 pm to Lester Earl
You can laugh, but we try to utilize as much of the cap space we have every year. We're trying to bring in new talent or secure our own, and if you're going to use the cap to the fullest extent, you're going to have to tinker with contracts. You act like we're the only team restructuring contracts you dumb bitch.

It's never been this widespread. i know you've only followed for a few years, but there is way more restructuring going on that usual.
yep, u mad

I was wondering when you'd whip out the bandwagoner card. Typical weak arse Lester.
No. I just think you're a dumb bitch. I've come to terms with it a while ago.

what am i saying that is dumb?
do you not think this team has a lot of bad contracts, specifically on defense? guys that simply are not living up to what they are being paid?
