This is one of the great misinformations about the bounty case. I guess it's technically true that the saints were told to stop but people hear this and assume goodell told Payton, loomis, or benson to stop. But what actually happened was a 30 second phone call from a mid-level league employee and nobody knows for sure what he said. Wether it was cut it out, or we think this is going on; if it is stop. Also, if the saints were told to stop doing something they weren't doing, how can they stop doing it?
