In my opinion its not even close...I understand we will still be a RB by committee team...but he's top the depth chart right?

Blue is probably still better, but he will have to beat out Hill. Blue is faster and supposedly better at blitz pickup.

Anytime a Les Miles back is consistently getting 15 sometimes 25 carries a game, I think it's safe to say he's #1. Even more so since we lost Ware & Ford.

No doubt he will get the rock over 150 times this year.

I don't know why he wouldn't be. Unless Blue comes back healthy and just outperforms Hill.

Not to mention, Hill could hit a sophomore slump like Hilliard did.

Les Miles is too smart for a depth chart.

Wanna bet that Blue starts if he's healthy?

It's the Les Miles way

I think Jeremy Hill and Blue will split carries. Then maybe later on he'll decide.

Hill is our best RB. Blue looked great running against North Texas, Washington, and Idaho. Hill looked great against quality SEC D and Clemson. And I dont see us rotating multiple backs like we have in the past. Hill is better than Blue, but Blue is way better than Hilliard. I think it will be a legit 2 headed monster with Hill and Blue. Kinda like what Bama did with Lacy and Yeldon. 1 guy gets 17+, the other guys gets 12 touches. While I do think Hill is our best RB and is good at catching the ball out of the backfield, Blue is our best pass catching RB. I love both these backs and think that Blue isn't just a great RB, but a great football players in general. But, Hill is 1 of the more talented RBs in the nation next year. 6'2 235 that can break those 50 yard TDs running away from people. Speed, power, size, aggressiveness, and always goes forward.

I think both guys will have excellent years. They complement each other perfectly and opposing D's will have to pay attention as to who is back there. Best part about them is that they can do similar things. It's not going to be like when Ford came in it went to the outside every time. I knew it, you knew it, the other team knew it. These guys can both run between tackles, outside, and catch the ball.

Blue was doing pretty good before he got hurt. BUT as long as Miles is here, we will NEVER have a #1 tb.

Blue has never shown he is the best back yet everyone is in love with him. I hope he does well but you people treat him like you did Chad Jones.

Depends on which RB has the hot hand during the game. The one with the hot hand is soon benched and no longer the #1 back until the next game.

I'm just glad we have all of them. We are most likely gonna need them all. Going up against SEC defenses ain't exactly a non contact situation.

Blue might start but Hill might get the majority of touches.

If Blue is healthy and as good as he was last year we have the best 2 backs in the business. Both of these guys will break 40+ yard TD's several times next yr.It will be fun to watch these two split carries and run through over and around people next yr. Hill is a monster talent but Blue is damn strong in his own right. I believe both will start about the same number of games, but Hill is the one that Im most interested in seeing next yr, if he can improve his inside running, which aint bad now, he could go down as the best back we have ever had.
