no excitement?
I remember last year there were quite a few people that bitched about the WBC. I enjoy it. It's real baseball games and it's just that much closer to Opening Day. I'll be watching.

Yep, and I've always been a sucker for the nation vs nation aspect of sports. Love the Olympics, World Cup, etc.

Bud Selig needs to talk to the owners and demand them to let guys play in the WBC, except for Votto.

any free streaming?
Besides for the usual illegal streams their website says that if you have MLB Network on Brighthouse, Time Warner, or Directv you can stream the games. So you might want to check with your balla friends that have cable or DTV.
quote:
As part of its coverage of the world's premier international baseball tournament, MLB Network's live game telecasts will be available on an authenticated basis online and on Apple devices. At no additional cost, Bright House Networks, DirecTV and Time Warner Cable subscribers who receive MLB Network as part of their TV subscription will have access to all 39 games on computers atWorldBaseballClassic.com/Watch by logging in with their TV service provider information. Once users have authenticated online and created an MLB user profile, they can watch the tournament on Apple devices (iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch) via the WBCBaseball app, available on the Apple App Store. In addition to streaming all 39 games live, authenticated users will be able to view highlights and archived World Baseball Classic games from earlier in the tournament. The live streaming will be available beginning with the first game between Australia and Chinese Taipei this Friday, March 1 at 11:30 p.m. ET

Same here on all accounts. I'll try to watch as much as possible. I just hate that many of the US players don't want to participate. I would love for us to smash through the classic just once.
