I think we should just so we can hear bobby Hebert pronounce his name.... Or try to

Definitely don't want him now. But, why do people think he will be overpaid? Who will give this guy any kind of big money after the mess in Philly?
Also, I'm loving this revisionist history many people are having now about his Oakland career. No one caught anything against him in Oakland. Dude was legit. Philly has to take some responsibility for this. They put him in a zone, and they had an offensive line coach coaching the entire defense. The entire Philly organization has been a mess the last couple years.

Worth considering. Don't worry about these circle-jerk asshats

MEEEEEEH.
Nnamdi barely got targeted. Hell, in 2010, he was only targeted 28 times.
Here's a good article, I know it's Bleacher Report the guy actually did his homework, on why teams just avoided Nnamdi.

He barely got targeted? That's the excuse? Doesn't that happen to all cb's that develop a reputation for shutting guys down? The fact that he had players that sucked across from him doesn't change the fact that when teams did throw his way he gave up nothing. By all stats that judge this stuff, he was the first or second best cb in football for quite a few years.

No, it actually doesn't. Revis was targeted a shitload of times, I can't find Bailey's target numbers, but he's targeted more than 2-3 times a game. Hell, Sherman was shut down this year and had a high number of targets.

Of course it'd be a good idea. Granted the Saints probably need to look at a NG or pass rusher to make the defense more disruptive, but Nnamdi Asomugha would be the best secondary player on the team by far. I have no idea how much cap space there is.

It's actually very simple. He's good in man coverage, could be potentially elite again, but he sucks donkey balls when in zone coverage

By your own argument, Revis and Sherman played with other good cb's. Of course they would be targeted more than Nnamdi. I'm not even disagreeing that who you play with is a factor in how many times you target a cb. But again, when teams did throw his way, he gave up nothing. And all the stats showed he was number 1 or 2 best cb in the league. I'm guessing how many times someone was targeted isn't the only stat used to decide this.
