These ram comparisons to the titans make no sense. The titan has 6gb of gddr5 ram and this article claims 8gb of gddr5 for the ps4 which is great but the 6gb from the titan works in conjunction with the ddr3 system ram planted on the mobo

has Sony eliminated the need for system ram? Or is this gddr5 in the ps4 going to serve a dual purpose? Or are there more specs to be revealed. or just a mistake?

If there is no system ram wouldn't that limit the heck out of what it can do?

So the ps4 is an 1.6 GHz apu with a state of the art gddr5 chip that hasn't been mass produced and Sony can't even fabricate ram? The frick?

How much system ram does it really need?

Aren't the current PS3/360's sharing 512MB of RAM right now? So they have 256MB of system ram on current gen consoles?

1GB seems like it would be plenty.

despite whatever the reports, the 8 GB of Ram will be shared system RAM. Some for sytem processes and some for graphics.

Someone just pasted a random person's comment. Not sure why it's generating so much discussion.
