How long til the penalties are announced?
Posted on 2/19/13 at 8:21 pm to TTsTowel
But seriously, I wonder how bad the sanctions are gonna be. Obviously not as bad as we originally thought since someone (JRL) decided to frick the investigation up, but there's a ton of serious stuff that the NCAA has proof of

I think they still hit them hard just to save face. Then Miami sues the NCAA 30 mins later.

They have 90 days to respond. Doubt they take very long to respond though. They want it over with.

Has UNC gotten an NOA yet?

Behind the scenes, Miami is hoping to push for practically no additional sanctions beyond those they have already self imposed.
I do not expect the sanctions to be that terrible going forward. The NCAA won't accept what Miami has already self imposed, but I don't expect Miami to agree to a whole hell of a lot more either. Miami is pretty pissed off at this point and appears ready for a fight if the NCAA tries to frick with them too much more.

I don't even understand why they even have a football time at this point tbh

Dunno about UNC. I just keep up with Da U due to talk radio here since I spend about 2 total hours a day in the car to and from work.

would be epic... but probably something nobody (UM or NCAA) wants.

It sucks. I'm 19 miles from the office which is at least an hour commute this time of year (all the snowbirds are here). And I leave early (7am) then leave the office by 4:30 or wait till 6:30.
If I leave at 8:30 or 5:30, it is OVER 1.5 hours to go those 19 miles.

Ohio State got bowl banned, loss of scholarships and wins stripped from them....over tattoos! Miami players were paid absurd amounts of money for years...athletic department wide! They should be hit hard!

Based on what a proven liar said.

Do the NCAA's penalties come with the NOA, or do they come after Miami makes their response back to the NCAA about the NOA?
