I pull my 22 ft. Century Cabin with a 2005 z71 Tahoe fairly well, a little jerky but nothing major. Hell I used to pull it with a single cab v6 Silverado back in the day, only 4 mile trip though.

24' Sea Fox w/ ttop with a 08 F-250. IMO, it doesn't matter the engine, its all in the rear end and towing ability. My buddy has a Dodge RAM and that new coil rear end makes his truck squat down with his 21' Blazer Bay. I prefer diesel due to gas mileage as well b/c I tow mine all over the place from the northshore.

Probably the number one reason to own a 4x4 IMO. I have been to several ramps that on low tide the rear tires are in the water and on slick ramp. Without 4x4 you will be launching more than your boat
