No argument there, but I have serious questions about such an inefficient point guard leading a team. He shoots well, but does he improve his teammates?

I will never consider any PG top 5 without at least 2:1 assists to turnovers. He may become a top 5 scorer, but a point guard is supposed to help set up teammates, which Irving doesn't do a lot of.

Westbrook had pretty similar numbers his rookie year. He's developed into more of a passer this season. Wouldn't be surprised to see a similar projection with Kyrie.

the NBA isn't built for cp3s anymore really

it's all about drivers and the pick and roll. irving may never be on westbrook's level, but that type of point just got his team to the finals last year (and bailed them out in a few games along the way)
