I've been living in Baton Rouge for almost 10 years and have never been.

I've heard prices are high but I'm interested in taking the ole lady soon and just wondering how much dinner would be.

$50-75/person plus alcohol. Depends on what you get.

I went last week with the ol lady. I had turtle soup, cowboy ribeye, we shared au gratin potatoes. She had a Caesar salad, the special which was 2 4 oz filet medallions covered in a crab and lobster sauce. After dinner she had a glass of port, I had a gentleman jack. Bill was $175 with tip. Great meal, great service, was totally worth it.

Should be about $120-150 for two. Get the creamed spinach as a side

Really depends on how much you order. If you get apps, steaks, sides, desserts and alcohol, you can run up a nice bill, but it's all good. I enjoy every meal there. If you like sweet potatoes, their side is really good.

I've never been to the one in BR. I've eaten at a few others and always enjoyed it.

I think Mrs. Wales and I are gonna go tomorrow night for an early Valentines dinner since the kids are at the inlaws.

I'm a big fan of the chop salad and creamed spinach.

Worst restaurant steak I've ever had. It was fatty and gristly as shite. It was cooked in so much butter that it made my stomach turn from the butter alone. In fact, it didnt seam to have any type of seasoning at all whatsoever except for the butter. No salt, no pepper, no spices of any kind, just endless gobs and gobs of butter.

It was nothing short of disgusting.

Flemmings and Shula's are FAR better choices for a steak here in Birmingham.
