I live where the stones are cobble on the stratmore side. Thinking of dropping it in that nursing home pond by the circle k Bickham smells funny ? It is called pickle park, big cesspool in the parking lots from what I understand.

I've done dorcheat and it is a nice kayak bayou. Never tried bodcau. I'll add it to the list.

Bodcau was my old fishing grounds. It's a pretty decent float trip. We used to put in at the bridge on 157 quite a bit.

any of your yak fishing areas look remotely good for duck hunting?

There are a few places I duck hunted this past season that having a yak/pirogue definitely helps, but those aren't secret places or anything. Loggy Bayou, Bodcau, etc...

That's all I wanted to know

I have a farm in Arkansas to duck hunt, but it has gotten worse every year, so I am trying to broaden my field a bit without stepping on toes. I just wasnt sure if there were any spots around here to get to without a fullsize boat.

I'm good for it anytime man! This pirogue has been sitting at my parents for years , just found out that I don't have to register it if I just paddle.

I am new to the paddling around here, so where would a good spot be? And at least one of y'all have to duck hunt from your or pirogue, so who ever you are, we need to become good friends

Let's wait till it warms up a tad, maybe the middle of turkey season? or how about late May/early June?

Seriously though, somewhere that allows adult beverages. We could all launch under the clyde fant bridge on 12 mile and fish that. It is a pretty productive area.

And we need another Thursday night rendezvous at the Cub, just not this Thursday.
