Take a page from Sean Payton: Brees hits the bench and starts looking at photos of what the defense just did, talking on the phone, talking to his line and receivers, and learning and adjusting throughout the game. Mett should do the same.

It should be gone, I have all the empathy in the world for Kragthorpe, however I think he has some weird tendencies. Especially if you read back through his Louisville days

Not every qb does this. Brees is a different breed. That is why he has the single season passing record and a super bowl ring.

What? the OC will be in the booth.
Dont care where he was in baltimore, he will be in the booth like every other oc weve had.

I watched almost every game and don't think I really noticed this. Was it used all year?

Media isn't going to interview him DURING games you dumb frick.

Yep...Even at the bowl. Although at the bowl, Met did step out of his area to try to fire the guys up a couple times. To no avail, but it was nice to see. It's not really a chamber but just a semi-isolated spot next to the equipment containers.

Yes, in the stadium. I guess that's why I still have no idea what this isolation chamber is.
that is what is great about attending the games in person...you don't have to hear all of this kind of bullshite that is conjured up and harped on by the commentators...
I actually made it a kind of a personal game to see how long it would take me to figure out what kind of shite the comnmentators came up with based on the comments that I heard at work...I could typically figure it out by 11 AM on Monday morning....

This is dumb, dumb, dumb. The Mett/Brees comparison aside, in the same way that different people learn differently, different quarterbacks learn differently. My own bias would obviously prefer Mett do something like Brees because it's a visible representation of him trying to improve that is easy to perceive, but maybe that's just not what works for him. All I want for him is to be tuned in and trying to win. Maybe that means looking at pictures, maybe it's talking to the OC, hell, buy the dude some doughnuts and see if it helps him focus like it did for Gausman

Could have been one of the worst ideas in the history of paid coaching.

It's called the Mettcave. Get it right!

Stupid idea. Sends wrong messages at multiple levels:
1. To Mett is says that you don't have to be a man and face your fears. It's ok to hide from them.
2. To teammates it says that your QB, the leader of your offense, is weak, fragile and needs to be protected.
3. To the media it says that both Mett and Krags are wierd.
LSU coaches like to brag about playing "real man" football, but then shelter their QB like a child who needs to be protected. Just another in a long list of coaching failures by the offensive staff. Tell Mett to man up and get out front like a leader. If he can't cut it, sit him and play a real man.
