How much do you think he improves next year with CCC now here?
I think he's a different QB, personally!

How about we just wait and see. People hyping him last year was too much

Hopefully, he'll help Mett learn how to move within the pocket. And be more accurate on deep passes.

With the right playcalling and an improved O-line and WRs with better hands you will see a very scary Mett without any improvement on his part.
If CC is everything we think he is Mett will be a top 4 QB in the SEC

I think his skill set will be utilized much better with Cameron at the helm on offense. Cameron has worked with a similar QB in flaco and made him successful. Not saying mettenberger is that good or anything, but I just see Cameron finding better ways to get the ball in the hands of our playmakers. He obviously doesn't need a mobile QB for his offense to click. So he should be able to fine tune ZM into a damn good QB.

My hope: pocket prescence improvement. At times, ZM seems to get lost in the pressure.

In Mett's defense, the whole bunch sucked at recognizing and adjusting to stunts and blitz.
LSU should have just sent RBs out hot route, because they weren't going to engage anybody.

I think this means they will have a real QB competition

It'll depend on how long he gets to run the offense.

Mett may actually complete a deep pass next year ?

We need this to find this Zach...

CC has never coached a QB that got worse...so everyone should expect ZM to get better.

Create a game plan and call plays that give Met the best chance for success. If that doesn't work, get Rivers, Rettig, or Jennings ready with actual game experience. A fresh look at the QB options is not a bad thing.

It is gonna be Mett. He played fine last year when we protected him even with all the drops.
Bama-MSU-Ole Miss was a great stretch of play by him.
