First two days of Paleo = torture.
My fiance' kicked me out last night because I was being bitchy. I'm hungry and can't eat anything I want to eat because of the little things.
I was sorely prepared for lent to start on Wednesday, and the whole no meat on Ash Wednesday AND Friday is making it even tougher. I need to go shopping and get some almond flour/coconut/coconut milk and other staples to make this work.
I have also discovered I don't like eggs. Breakfast has been my worst meal of the day so far.

Oh and Drew...no fair you still eating eggs! If you're getting good protein like that it's not going to work.
However...you can have Sunday. I'll NEVER make it through lent without Sunday.

I’ve also gone Paleo for lent and so far, so good. Last year, I did vegetarian/vegan and it was a struggle at first but got a lot better towards the end.
Wednesday, I had some oranges for breakfast, salad with grilled chicken and shrimp for lunch, and some eggs for dinner. Also had a few slices of bacon (fricked up there).
Thursday, I ate some almonds and oranges for breakfast, turkey and boiled egg salad, and a grilled chicken salad for dinner.
Today, I made an omelet (turkey, broccoli, and random salad stuff) for breakfast, and will be having a grilled chicken, boiled egg, and turkey salad. I also picked up some almond butter and had it with some apples as a snack
This weekend, I’ll do some research and buy some other items from the store.
Deli turkey from the store is Paleo friendly right?

Yeah as long as it doesn't have anything non-paleo in it. Like some of the pre-prepared meats have raspberry sweetener or something on it, just don't get that.
I just went to a restaurant for lunch, and the cashier thought I was insane. I got a grilled shrimp salad with balsamic and had to sub hush puppies for green tomatoes.
Hush puppies.

Bacon is about as paleo as it gets.

He meant because he ate it on Ash Wednesday.
For the record though...pre-cooked microwave bacon is nasty!

Queen, sorry to hear the first couple of days have sucked. I guess it can only get better from here! What did you eat for breakfast before the Paleo switch?
I tried to look up a few things for you and here's a few I came across:
Blueberry topped sweet potato. I personally love sweet potatoes. You could add cinnamon or agave for more sweetness if you needed it. Also could use raspberries/blackberries. The recipe cooked the berries down with the sausage/bacon. Also had an egg mixed up in there somewhere. Maybe scramble it?
Do you not like the taste of egg? Or the consistency?
I eat fruit for breakfast all the time. Instead of cereal, almond milk with berries in it... maybe add some granola. (Is granola okay for paleo?)
If you don't like the 'in the bowl' idea, just dipping some fruit in almond butter can be great.
An avocado with salt and pepper, if you are a fan of them.
You could always make a green smoothie if you aren't much of a breakfast eating person. Almond milk (or juice of apple/orange if you own a juicer), bananas or any type of berries, almond butter, big handful of spinach or kale.
Here's what I had for lunch today...
Just chopped some red, yellow, and green bellpeppers cooked them in a little oil with mushrooms.
And of course juice. Apple + carrot + strawberry + ginger. Really simple stuff and very tasty.

It's been a little better, I went to whole foods and got some coconut milk/water/flour, almond meal, dates, etc.
I'm stopping at Kroger tonight for what I guess will be a weekly stock up for fresh things.
Tried frying an egg this morning thinking maybe the scrambled consistency was no good. Meh, still sucked.
I think if I can manage to get up earlier - which will be a feat - that I can enjoy breakfast. I can make a banana/blueberry "pancake" that tastes pretty good, it just takes time in the morning. Fiance' bought me a paleo cookbook and that's helped too. It's just a lot more involved than cooking/mealtime has ever been for me before!

Make these for breakfast
Apple Muffins
I made a batch this weekend and they taste great. I've been on paleo for a week today and feel fantastic. I've used a bunch of websites for great recipes and my crockpot to make sure I have enough food for lunches and dinner throughout the week.

Have you tried adding some veggies (bellpeppers, onions, tomato, spinach) or mushrooms to the scramble? Sounds like eggs just aren't for you.
The muffin idea suggested may be a good idea for you (if you can pre-make them, then eat them at your convenience with no prep).
You don't have to eat "breakfast food" in the morning either. Sometimes I'll have a sweet potato and green beans or spinach.

20 Bright-Eyed and Bushy-Tailed Paleo Breakfast Ideas To Wake Up To
I like eggs but i'm burnt out on them as the main act, hope this helps.
A few of these contain eggs as an ingredient but none of them are primarily eggs.
