Blue
I was trolling a little with the date but the 18th was pulled from a polish listing for the Titan.
Whatever or whenever it comes, it should be here by April. I will no doubt be putting them in SLi, tired of this PoS 690 with the VRAM issue.

I can't speak for the 680 but my gigabyte 670 has been great. Runs everything I have thrown at it and while I'm sure the 680 is a better gpu I can't justify spending more to upgrade something that works perfectly already.

That's what I'm looking at. I'm going from the 660ti and I want the most bang for my buck. They're both within my budget so money isn't really the issue.
I know the 670 is worth the money. I just can't decide if the 680 is worth the extra over the 670. If its a minimal difference in performance then I'm good with the 670. If its worth it then I would like the 680.

If you are indifferent I would just keep a close eye on the prices of both in the coming months and buy the first one that goes on deep discount.

1080 670 is all you need
1440 think about SLi or a 680

overkill is expensive though. like I said, watch for deals on both in the near future and you'll end up with a powerful gpu for a good price that you can likely turn around and get rid of in the near future if you are unsatisfied.

The 79xx series cards are now including Crysis 3, BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3, Hitman & Sleeping Dogs with their video cards.
That's insanely good deals

You'll have more in video cards than I have in my entire build

What game will benefit from that on a single 1440p monitor?

I get some spikes in BF3 at times. Also I do want to setup surround again once nvidia better supports it.
120hz 1440p is still no joke. That is 1/3 more pixels than 1080.
Plus really don't care about price points as I'm more of an ethusists and like testing out hardware.

Interesting, BF3 runs pretty well for me. Basically, all my problems went away when I went from Xfire 6950s to a single 7970. I thought it was AMD in general, but it's the xfire that fricks things up in many games. I'll never do it again.
Also, I forgot you have the overclocked catleap.

I was thinking something more modest for whenever I do my build.
