Where can I watch last night's episode? FX only has the pilot on there. Anyone know if they'll put this one up later on? If not when is it replaying on FX?
If they don't eventually put it up on their website, it'll rerun next Tuesday night at 9 Central.

Man this show already has me. I loved the first 2 episodes so much they may be able to just entirely frick up the last 10 or whatever and I'll still love it.
This was the best era for these spy-games IMO. It's when I was growing up and taught to hate everything Russia, and I just knew as a 6 year old they were gonna bomb the frick out of us and I was gonna end up like the kids in Red Dawn except younger and deader.
I love seeing Keri Russel playing this bad arse. And I found myself at times kind of cheering for them to succeed in their mission. That's how I know this series is good. They have me cheering for the "bad guys" that I was taught to hate growing up.
It really looks like the sky is the limit. A lot of shows would have peaked with just these first 2 episodes, but this one has a way higher ceiling.

Hypothetical: You're in the position of the mom in this episode. These people have asked you to do something seemingly inoccuous, like steal and replace a clock, but that obviously has ramifications. They've made a credible threat that you believe they are capable and willing to carry out. Do you cooperate? Go to the authorities?

If I were in her position, I steal the clock. I can claim duress later to the authorities if it comes to that. No way I let my son die if out to that decision.

By the same token, the FBI agent is extorting cooperation from the Russian girl using not so different tactics. She's helping her family back home, doing something that is subversive to the Soviet Union--running a black market operation, undermining the Soviet economy. They're on our side in a way, but we threaten them with the gulag in order to have a mole inside the embassy.
It's a dirty, dirty game, on both sides.

Another thing I noticed, clothes haven't changed much since the eighties. I'm not talking about trendy shite, but regular business attire and stuff normal people would wear. If this series was set in the sixties or seventies, the difference would be very obvious.

Are you a parent? Easy decision imo. Especially considering she is watching her son die.

Maybe they're lying. Maybe there's no antidote. Maybe a doctor could help. Maybe they'll kill you all anyway when you do what they want. It's not such a cut and dried decision.

Maybe but I'm not taking that chance especially after what happened when she told her brother. Also, if they were going to kill my kid I'd want them to go ahead and kill me too.
