My buddy up at Caney usually wears them out during the spawn. I've been staying in contact with him and he says it won't be long.

Hopefully I will have pics to share soon.

I would say they will start moving into a little shallower water in the next week or 2. Water temp where I fish was 60-61 last week in the deeper spots.

*Disclaimer*

I'm a pretty terrible bass fisherman.

Depends on where, on Toledo Bend, I think they will hold off a while, probably next month. We fished 1215 area on Sunday, we did decent, had about 10 keepers, 2 5lbrs, none were up really shallow though. Water temps were in the mid-high 50's. Spent a hour or so in our "honey hole" when they are spawning, and not a fish in there. Brother went on Monday, they fished the south end, caught a good mess 15 I think, all ripping traps in the grass. Nothing up shallow.
Now Indian Creek in Woodworth, they will probably spawn soon. Some buddies went out there over the weekend, said they saw quite a few "cruisers," they did well fishing flukes in inches of water. Temps in the low 60's if I am not mistaken.

Soon. I caught my limit Sunday in 2-4 foot of water at Toledo this past Sunday. About half half had eggs.

Some already have and I'm not sure they didn't drop some eggs in Dec in the marsh. Saw a bunch of fry that looked like bass. I usually catch a good sack in duck season and we did this year also. SEC tourney time is usually my best time year in and year out. And I wrap it up around St Patty's day. If they spawn in April I'll never know as long as I can still chase them jive turkeys.

with the warm weather last week they tried to move up during the full moon in the bayou black area, 20 lb and 19 lb stringers were caught for a tourny, which is big for that area, the cooler weather this past week knocked em down, if we get consistent 63-65 deg temps for a week or so u will catch some trying to spawn
