If you are not new to duck hunting then you remember when this was the norm. Your statement only makes sense to those that have never seen anything other than a 6/60 season.

I'm in my mid 20s so no I've never seen the 3/30. And I hope we don't. 30 days isn't shite. Like I said alot of people don't have jobs where they can take off work the entire hunting season.

The average Joe is left facing whether or not it's worth it to buy/maintain eqipment, leases, 4 wheelers, boats, etc. just for a handful of hunts. It becomes even more of a rich man's hobby. Wrong direction to go IMO. More days and less birds would be better. I'd personally rather a 2/45.

Ahh the good ole days. Cough, cough I mean those terrible days. When a hunt at the wax meant finding someone else to go with you cause you might not see anyone all day. Catahoula was just a handful of people too. And prime blinds in SW LA where 20 cents on the dollar compared to today.
