I bought these 2 yesterday and started playing Asylum. Does this game get better or is it just me busting about 4 bad guys up at a time and grappling around?

Both games are great. The only thing that sucks are the challenge modes though I beat a lot of those too. New game + in Arkham City was a good challenge. Asylum was fairly easy, even on hard.

You basically do what Batman would do. You do fight large groups of bad guys, crawl around, and grapple around. You also hide in the shadows, grapple up somewhere to hide so you can drop in on bad guys unannounced, do detective type stuff. You also fight a bunch of Batman's signature bad guys. Personally, as a big Batman fan, I loved it. I guess my review would be a bit biased because I'm such a big Batman fan. Then again, maybe because I'm such a big fan I would judge it more harshly than others. Either way, I loved both games.

I actually played City first. I found it very enjoyable, but I wish I understood the fighting system earier into my playing.

Once I figured out the cues and how to keep the combos going I became pretty unbeatable.

I've probably put more hours into the riddler combat challenges than the campaign.

Playing Asylum second actually probably saved me. The linear feel got tedious at times, but I understood the payoff after having played City.

Asylum was always very meh to me but Arkham City is one of the best games I've ever played.
