Just incredible.

You do realize this has happened before in big games?
Posted on 2/3/13 at 7:47 pm to beaverfever
Why? Power went down in a building? shite happens.
Posted on 2/3/13 at 7:47 pm to td33simplythebest
The jokes will be relentless for years to come.
Holy shite.
Holy shite.

apparently so. I say we need another thread about it

No backup for things like this? Where is the FEMA tranformer?

Yeah embarrassing for both.
I mean shite happens, but the length of the delay is just ridiculous.

How many generators would it take to run a stadium
Posted on 2/3/13 at 7:49 pm to td33simplythebest
Especially New Orleans and Louisiana .

Kind of embarrassing, but it's also a freak occurrence. Won't change the fact that NOLA blows every other host city out of the water

pretty sure a SF game lost power in SF in the last 3 years or so. I'd have to imagine that halftime show probably fricked up the circuits somehow.

How so? This is funny. Could have happened anywhere. I imagine its more of something the nfl did than something the city of New Orleans did.

A transformer wouldn't do much good here
But call me crazy, but a generator might help.
And maybe half of it is on backup

Hopefully this doesn't impact NOLA getting future superbowls on the off chance that I move back
