Sorry if Germans.
He says its affecting his lift on his jumpers. I would sit him tonight if it were up to me

he looked pretty gimpy out there. that explains a lot.
i'm surprised they are saying it isn't expecting to keep him on the bench...i'm wondering if john means that the knee will keep gordon on the bench, not the back...or if he means gordon is expected to play

Denver -- New Orleans Hornets guard Eric Gordon said he played Friday night’s game against the Denver Nuggets with a sore lower back, but it’s not expected to keep him from playing Saturday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Gordon said his back has been sore since this past Tuesday’s game against the Lakers. He sat out Wednesday’s game against the Utah Jazz because of the team's restriction to not play him in the second game of back-to-back sets to avoid overextending his right knee. Gordon missed the first 29 games of the season because of a patella disorder and bone bruise in his right knee.
"t’s a little sore, but I’ve been dealing with it,’’ Gordon said about his sore back." With so much travel and games, it has been a little bit of wear and tear on me.''

We should definitely sit him. tonight is a must lose game and Minny has been terrible lately.

Somehow I'm not surprised. Damn shame.

no rush to clear him, at this point losing is a good thing. I had some hope we would make a run when he 1st got back, but that has faded

I don't get this line of thinking at all. Everybody keeps saying he can just sit out or rest and it's no big deal. But he is not a finished product. He is a young player that needs to develop his game. He needs experience being a leader and playing with this core. He's not going to get better sitting on the bench or in the training room.
Also, why is he so special that he shouldn't have to play. Davis has had ankle issues all season, but still plays every game. What would happen if they just sat him out for a month or every other game? He can twist it at any time, so why take the risk? Almost every guy on the team is battling something, but we don't sit them. There has to be something more to Gordon's condition..
