I'm not huge on Soccernomics, but it does ask a few decent questions. It does talk about similar things we've discussed in this thread; mainly regarding the US and relating our relatively wealthy population to soccer success.
I recently finished Simon Kuper's book about Dutch Soccer, Jews, Ajax and World War II. It's a really random assortment of stories, but interesting nonetheless.

What I've read of it so far makes sense, mainly about making players feel comfortable and things of that nature. Which book is that?

like freakanomoics, i see it as a way to raise interesting questions that may not even really be legit questions
