LSU Basketball remaining schedule

Warning: Sunshine pumping thread.
Is it just me, or does this schedule look like it sets us up really well if we can put it all together. IF we can win tonight, I think we can win @State and vs Vandy. That would bring us to 4-5. That Bama game will be tough, but they haven't impressed me all that much. I think we can beat SC, Miss St, and possibly Tenn depending on if we can get out in transition.
I have really decided our year is far from over. If the Tigers can get it together, start hitting some shots, and have no injuries, I think we still have a legit shot at NIT.
I'm not saying it's likely that we win 8 but I think it's very possible to win 8 or 9 more if we continue to improve.
30-Jan Missouri
2-Feb at Mississippi State
6-Feb Vanderbilt
9-Feb at Alabama
14-Feb at South Carolina
16-Feb Mississippi State
19-Feb Tennessee
23-Feb Alabama
27-Feb Arkansas
2-Mar at Missouri
6-Mar at Texas A&M
9-Mar Mississippi

Outside of at Missouri all those games can be won
And yes, I'm including Ole Miss
Ole Miss' best team couldn't beat UK's worse in the Calipari era at home

Ummmm sure, but likely? Nope.

Like I said, not likely, but I honestly think LSU is turning the corner. The second half of Kentucky was a really solid performance. I have seen optimism by the players via twitter and I saw a much improved team in Rupp.
I think tonight will be very tough, but besides that, there are some very winnable games.

There's no way we finished 2-16 for the year. I'd bet on that.

I don't see too many games that are unwinnable.

That's the way I am seeing it too. IF and its a big if, but IF we have really turned it around and second half Kentucky is normal play, we have 8 wins minimum there. If that was above average but we play near that level, we still have 6 or 7.

I'm sticking to my pre-season prediction of 6-12 to 8-10

I only see 2 definite losses at Bama, at Mizzou.
Problem is I see 0 definite wins.
My prediction for the rest of those games...6-6

Think I was already on the bandwagon, but after last night, I'm thinking of yelling "shotgun" on the bandwagon!
Basically anything's possible if the team continues to gel, there are no injuries and we press for a part of every game (hehehe).
Realistically I think we win 6 more. And that is success in my mind

Those are some big ifs.
In all seriousness, I think we can get an NIT bid. And I'd count that as a successful season for Coach Jones.
