Story here. If any of you go soon, please report.

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) personnel have confirmed that a portion of Cross Bayou Weir has failed. As a result, the Larto-Saline Complex in central Louisiana has begun to dewater and will soon become equal with the water level of Black River.

glad hunting season is over then. with that said I wont be able to launch at my launch anymore
I could tell it has been leaking though. Water fell over 2 feet in a week. I knew something was up.

Fish should be stacked in the channels.....I hope the LDWF keeps an eye on it. They drained saline lake outside of winnfield down to just the channels and all the greedy outlaws have murdered the fish. It will take years for that lake to bounce back.

quote:Dunno. I am forced to camp near the dam, so my best hope is to be able to cross and drag a trap in the moth of 6 mile.
