What are your top 3 metrics when ranking Pitchers and Hitters?

Standard 5x5 Dynasty Roto League?

are you asking which stats do you focus on?

if its 5x5, they are all equally have the same value. Cant really focus on any one specific.

K/9 and ab/hr is a good stat to use for guys who may not have gotten an extended look in the bigs.

For instance, Edwin encarnacion's ab/hr hinted he could have nice power numbers if given a chance.

Jeff Samardjza would be a good pitcher example.

Metrics really don't play that big of a role, though. You win by having guys who produce in your 5x5 categories, plain and simple

In prospects I look for at least a walk for every 10 ABs and an OBP above .340. I'll take a shot on prospects who don't have a lot HRs but have a lot of doubles. It's only a matter of time before some of those doubles become HRs

For pitcher prospects it's all a out WHIP a d K/9

An overlooked stat is the HBP, don't forget to check that.
