anyone have any dealings with an FN 57 pistol. i believe that is the name. correct me if that is no right. mainly just trying to find out if it is as bad arse, as i am being told. might have an angle on getting one for around 800. worth it?

buy it buy it buy it! ammo is expensive but thats a helluva deal on that gun right now. if you dont want it, ill buy it

I would love one, almost got one a few years back, if you could get it in pretty good shape for 800 I would jump on it right now, as I am sure this will be one of the first on the chopping block
drawback would be getting ammo, I think there are only 2 kinds made for it

rounds are pretty expensive so unless you're OT rich don't plan on shooting it all the time

Great gun, but getting ammo for it was PITA when getting ammo for anything wasn't a PITA.

I have one its my primary c&c pistol. A little big but it will stop anything in its tracks. Expect a call from the ATF when you get it tho they fricking hate that gun with a passion and ammo is retarded expensive but I love it. New the gun is around $1200 so $800 sounds like a great deal considering you can sell a used one for 2k probably now
Also I have only ever seen one ammo producer of the 5.7x28 at that is FNH. Who makes the gun as well

They not only called me they came to my house and took pictures of it and ran the serial numbers, etc on it. The dems in TN tried to outlaw the gun and caliber a few years back so I think we're directing local ATF agents to harass owners. Even tho I have a clean criminal record, own multiple guns and have never even had a speeding ticket. Feds/cops don't like it cause the round was designed specifically to penetrate almost all types of body armor

The only reason I didn't get one earlier was because of the availability and price of ammo. Kicking myself in the nuts for not doing so

Lafayette shooters had one last year that I was about to buy but bought my HK p30 instead. Knew I come to regret that decision one day. Saw it as bass pro the other day and they wanted $1220 .
