You can hate on Matt Ryan just because he is a Falcon, or any other player, coach or water boy that wears Falcons colors for that fact. But, you hate on them because you know they are a threat, and we will be a threat for a while. Saints fans don't run rampant with shite talk in regards to the Bucs or Panthers, because for the most part, they are irrelevant when it comes to chasing us for the division. You can deny it, but it's the truth.

I agree wholeheartedly.

I just think Saints ceiling is a bit higher than falcons ceiling. With that being said, I think Falcons under Smith are very good at playing very near their ceiling or at it.

I wouldn't disagree with this. With Smith/Ryan, you can pretty much guarantee you are going to get at least a B grade in any game. The problem is the A games have been few and far between with them. They really need to have a good draft, and for Tony to come back.

The Saints obviously need their defense to get it's shite together and for Brees to continue doing his thing.

Until the Falcons can get a formidable defense to compliment the offense, I will have to agree with you. What Payton and Brees are able to do together as a tandem is impressive.

You could clearly see the sort of impact Payton had on the Saints offense. They still had their moments of greatness this year, but they weren't near as good without Payton.
