I can't help but think how much more competent we would be if
-Pat Swilling Jr would've been enrolled
-Calvin Godfrey qualified
-Odoh qualified
-Hamilton stayed
-Trent didn't whiff on Ricardo Gathers AND Devonte Pollard
You change any of those events and we had the Jimmy's and Joe's to be decent this year.

Hard to say how any of these would have done. Hamilton, yeah, safe to say we would be much better with him. Godfrey was a total unknown and might have been a flop even though he had size. Odoh would have probably helped on defense and rebounding. Swilling I don't think would help at all as he would have been just another wing player. Pollard hasn't been the instant success everyone thought he would be at Alabama although he has been good at times. Gaithers I know nothing about.
I hope next year's players are as good as their press releases and they can make an instant transition to college ball.
