Outside of @Mizzou and @ UK we could beat anybody left on the schedule if we don't play like tards

For the most part I would agree. But we've played like tards the last 6 games and it looks like we're regressing, not progressing.

They should change it up and go to some ridiculous offensive scheme just for shits and giggles. At least it would be entertaining.
The offensive scheme looks pretty ridiculous now, but it ain't working.
Maybe the Freak?

Are you fricking high? They are one of the better SEC teams this year. If we play Miss. St or South Carolina again then I think we can win those games.

I think there are any number of other teams we can beat if we play with some semblance of discipline and intelligence.
But I really haven't seen many signs that we're capable of that yet this year.

It is just a simple fact...we have ZERO interior presence and even the worst SEC teams are exploiting it. We can't get the ball inside on offense and have to rely on 3-pointers. When Georgia switched their zone to that 3-2 look, I don't think we got a good shot thereafter.
We knew this going in...it shouldn't shock anyone at this point. Help is supposed to be on the way though, so wait til next year I suppose.

If the rest of the SEC was oozing with inside presence I lend a bit more credence to that. Of the 3 winnable games we've heretofore lost, only Auburn had any real semblance of an inside presence in Chubb who is just barely servicable because he's got 4 years of experience. JOB3 still struggled, but he broght more inside presence tonight than anyone Georgia had.

I knew we wouldn't be a tournament team. But I absolutely think we can get better out of what we have to this point. Very disappointing.

IDK..how many X and O's can you really teach with this team of holdovers from TJ?

Apparently not as much as Martin who probably had less talent even before losing one of his better players for the year at SC and Fox who probably has less talent and is from the Trent coaching tree and Calipari's old lap dog over at Auburn who has comparable talent.

This. It's BB 101 that you spread them out & attack a match-up zone from the weak side, send cutters away from the ball and throw it over the top.
We've seen match up zone defenses for the last three games and seem to have no idea how to exploit it.

quote:2 games against Miss ST, Vanderbilt, rematch against SC, and maybe Tennessee. Would we get a play-in game in the SEC tournament against the 2nd worst SEC team?
Already missed 3 of the more likely opportunities. Who is left they can legitimately beat?

I realize this quote was meant as more of a joke but I really am disappointed in JOB. I understand he's hurt. He also pulls down rebounds but 39 freaking turnovers on the season already? That's terrible.

He misses Justin Hamilton down low big time.... JOB not good enough to do it alone.
