Oh. And gonna test this philosophy.
There's 2 good times to be fishing.
1. When it's raining.
2. When it aint.

once school is done i'm buying a yak. i've learned a lot about catching reds but i have a long way to go in terms of locating them. i can catch them no problem. i need to do some reading about where they go in respect to tides and seasons.
with a yak i'll be able to bass fish again for the first time in years. i have about $200 in plastics from years ago

I'm making reservations to stay in a Hampton
Inn in Brookhaven for a two day attempt at Ohkissa in early March.
Lake Natchez is also on my list.
I haven't fished the spillway in 2 years.
That 14" limit needs to be reexamined.
I'm a Cataouche type guy usually. I will spend a lot of time there for sure.

Will start fishing in about two weeks once the hunting season is over.
I need to start to get my trout lines fixed. Catfish will be thick soon on Old River. I don't eat them, but will sell them.

Never fished Cataouche, but the lake in Natchez is fun when you find them.

I fished ohkissa last year. It's tough fishing. It's 80+ ft deep in spots. I'll never go again. It's one of those lakes that you need to fish a lot in order to be able to understand it.
