Wine, liquor and beer sold in separate stores.
Only buy beer by the case.
Sucks

Up here in Jersey you can get all booze at grocery stores, but there is a catch, only one store per chain can have the liquor license, the A&P here in tow can sell booze but the better A&P a two miles away can't sell it

Not to the Amish country no, but 33 round trips last year kept me busy.

this law didn't change last summer?
I know breweries used to only be able to sell you whole cases of a single beer, but that law changed last summer. I went to weyerbacher in june and they sold me singles of whatever I wanted because the law just changed.

I didn't grow up here, but did come of drinking age when I was living here. Every time I go back home to Nashville I get annoyed by having to go to two seperate stores to get beer. If it's less than 6.5% it is sold in grocery stores. Any higher and it is in liquor stores.

Mississippi is the same way. Wine/liquor only in liquor stores but they can't sell tobacco. Beer and tobacco sold in grocery stores and gas stations. MS legislature solving the dreaded "What booze will I drink?" problem.

PA liquor laws are fricked up. Utah is worse though, you can only buy singles of full strength beer at the liquor store. Wtf?

Some grocery stores (Wegman's) now sell by the 6-pack.
I have relatives in Downingtown. We go to Victory Brewing Co. every time we visit .

In Virginia they sell wine and beer at grocery stores. Liquor is old at state ABC stores and the cost is high. That is why everyone in NOVA buys their liquor in DC or Maryland.
