Mett completed nearly 60%
But you have to move in the pocket.
He was like a statue. Defenders had open shots at him. That's on him.

Serious question -- how many completions we passes over 15 yards. (not yards after catch)

Actually quite a lot,... if you noticed, Mett was better ar throwing 15+ than screens and the like

2013. I posted this earlier and got ridiculed.
What say you, COUSIN???
I didn't ridicule you bro....I was just saying that he was offered by La Tech and he committed there...I already knew that we offered him. It was in that article that I posted.

Kid has huge upside. with next years WR class I see no problems with the offer

His long strides make his speed deceptive. See Travin Dural highlights for the same thing.

Filler offer. Offer list says it all.

Watching his highlights knowing he's only played one year of football has me excited for this one. Looks to have amazing instincts. Would like to have him.

I agree with this. May need to red shirt but he has tremendous upside.

Finally someone has a good comparison for Spears. Comparing him to Armand Williams is asinine. I went back and looked at Williams' highlights followed by Spears and it's not even close. Spears is fluid, clean in his breaks and catches everything with his hands. I hope we take him this weekend.

He runs nice routes already. This should be an easy flip for Wilson.

I agree with Lynxcat on this one. I think he is at par and really a LA Tech quality guy.
I mean he will probably be a solid player for us. I have to question why we put so many eggs in the Leslie basket for it the crack at this late in the game. I could care less about rankings on thsi one and i am admittedly a star gazer.
But looking at the possibitlies to come in a play WR.
Jefferson
Diarse
Brazil
So why would a RSJ or Marquez North want to come in with such depth?
Who was that WR that committed during the summer then backed out and went with the Aggeis?

we need a tall WR and our coaches are getting desperate now. I guess the staff realized Leslie wont make the grade. Big time WRs arent exactlying breaking down the door to play for LSU right now.

Why do people say he has such huge upside? I get he's only played one year, but he's not that explosive looking, and while he's got good size he's not that big where his size would present major matchup issues.

and while he's got good size he's not that big where his size would present major matchup issues.
ETA: he also shows great blocking ability, which is something Les and co. covet in WR's

It's all good, You were right and I guess I owe Ponamsky an apology, for finally getting something almost right (he didn't commit to LSU), lol...

This kids film looks awesome! I wanted to drop one of the juco guys for either him or Eddie Jackson.

The one saving grace here is he has only played one year of football.
I would pass on him. He is not very fluid in his cuts or in the open field and doesn't show tremendous speed. Average size, but does seem very natural catching the ball.
If he is the best we can field at WR, then we will be in trouble down the road. LSU is an elite program and I don't see him being that caliber.
Well, when i watch the n.f.l., i see Colston, brandon marshal, wes welker, vincent jackson, jordy nelson, greg jennings, cecil shorts, steve smith, roddy white, victor cruz, miles austin, Mike wallace, antonio brown, lance moore, James jones, ect. had lsu signed guys like that, they would have been in deep trouble.

I read where he said he expects to grow another couple of inches. Idk if that's something he's been told or he's just blindly saying it, but a 6'4 leaper with good hands in a couple of years would be refreshing.

We need QB that can get WR's the ball...LSU addressed that concern this year.
A ***** WR dropped a lot of passes this year.
