Some Stats:
Aikman
61.5 Comp%, 32,942 yds, 165 TDs, 141 ints, 81.6 QBR.
Montana
63.2 Comp%, 40,551 yds, 273 TDs, 139 ints, 92.3 QBR
Marino
59.4 Comp%, 61,361 yds, 420 TDs, 252 ints, 86.4 QBR
And just for shits
Drew Brees
65.6 Comp%, 45,919 yds, 324 TDs, 165 ints, 94.3 QBR
Peyton Manning
65.2 Comp%, 59,487 yds, 436 TDs, 209 ints, 95.7 QBR
Another fun stat is yds/attempt
PM 7.6
DM 7.34
DB 7.46
JM 7.52
TA 6.98
If Peyton has a typical year next year, he should break Marino's total. I understand the game is different, and favors QBs. But both Manning and Brees complete passes a full 6 percentage points better than Marino, while having comparable yds per attempt. Say what you want, but thats pretty impressive.

If Peyton Manning and Drew Brees had to play for the Dolphins in the '80s and '90s, they wouldn't have come close to winning a ring. Back in those days, you needed to have a solid running game and great defense to win it all. The AFC had all the great QBs but the NFC kept winning Super Bowls with the likes of Jim McMahon, Phil Simms, Doug Williams, Jeff Hostetler, and Mark Rypien at QB. If Dan Marino had played in today's NFL, he would have gone down as the GOAT.

What record does Marino still have?
