The topic is not who had the better character, the topic is who gave the better performance. Fiennes was far and away the better of the two.

I wasn't talking about who was the better character, I was talking about how the role is limiting in what it allows the actor to be able to show in a performance.

Other than he was really scary, what makes Fiennes far and away better?
