You did a good job with it, but I was in a meeting with one of Walker's coaches & ADs yesterday and they said the all but two Orleans Parish HS would be in the select bracket. They were hoping that when the break aways that the Jefferson Parish westbank public schools, would be allowed to come with them.

Rapides Parish is Open Enrollment and Pineville in 5A is also a Magnet School.

Washington Marion, Glen Oaks and Carroll are all Magnet as well that I know of.

the issue with the public select schools in a new association is their school board may not allow it. Having a magnet school in the new association and an under performing inner city school in the old association creates a nightmare political scenario for a school board.

I see a vote on friday of the all classes all sports split failing

I see a vote on friday of the all classes, football only split playoffs passing

this sends a message to the privates that they are systematically being marginalized. That is an untenable situation and will create a groundswell of sentiment to create a separate path. Where that path goes, who is on the path and when it happens has yet to be determined but I dont think it will be good for the have-nots in the association
