Height: 6-5. Weight: 250.
Projected 40 Time: 4.70.
Projected Round (2013): 4-6.
1/12/13: Lutzenkirchen's ended early with a hip injury. Prior being hurt, he had been being held back by poor quarterback play as he has regularly worked his way open and wasn't thrown the ball. Lutzenkirchen totaled 15 receptions for 139 yards as a senior.
8/21/12: Lutzenkirchen had 24 receptions for 238 yards and seven touchdowns in 2011. He was a quality blocker for Auburn running back Michael Dyer. Lutzenkirchen was a Second-Team All-SEC selection last year. He became a starter in 2010 and caught 15 passes for 185 yards and five touchdowns.
Lutzenkirchen also was a good blocker for Cam Newton and the Tigers' ground game. Lutzenkirchen probably won't catch a huge amount of passes in Auburn's offense, but he is a solid contributor.
*Think it would be a good pick up, especially with a need of a blocking TE if D.Thomas isn't back next yr

That date hasn't happened yet. Mayans.

He'd be a good replacement if Dave Thomas goes.

I think he could be a solid player for us as a backup. QB play at AU hurt a lot of guys that are good. as long as its not a high draft choice, which he should be a steal in the later rounds i'd be alright with it.

I think he would be a great add for Saints and I really liked him at Auburn. No earlier than the 6th round for an offensive player this year though. (except a quality OT)
6th or 7th round I would snag him in a heartbeat.

Impossible.
He has three years left at AU.

Same here. Should David Thomas leave, this is who I hope we draft to replace him.
He's a versatile guy.

for real NGT - i feel he got cheated out of showcasing himself this past season and deserves at least 1 more time.

I'm not high on drafting a TE in the first two rounds unless they are Jimmy Graham caliber guys. We have other needs on this team besides a back-up TE.

Plus he has an awesome last name

Sure why not. I would spend a 5th rounder on him

If Buddy D cannot pronounce it then the answer is no.

Yeah I initially said 6-7th rd but the idea of having a badass duel TE formation is well worth a 5th.
