The correct answer is no, they dont all have assigned roles. Everyone else is versatile. Even Ware got toss plays, how can you forget?
Ford was simply a 1-trick pony, and he was very good at it. He wasn't an inside runner because he's not that kind of back, plain and simple. Holliday was the same (just much smaller).
