He was damn near perfect when our OLine decided to give a frick. We don't need a mobile QB...just one that knows how to use his feet and step up in the pocket.

No we don't. We need someone who can coach Mett and teach him how to make the right decisions on the field.

You do not need a change of pace qb. If teams choose to blitz do to his immobility you just implement screens and quick passes into the gameplan rather than messing with any rythem your offense will have. Playing 2 different qb has a good chance of causing more problems than they fix. As we all should remember.

I don't think we need a two qb system but a package of 10 plays or so a game with a different pace qb would be ok with me.

people keep ignoring the real problem with our offense this season our O-line sucked couldn't protect mett and couldn't make room for our RB consistently.
If LSU can go 13-1 with the crappy QB play we had the second half of the season then with a slightly better QB under center shouldn't we have won it all this year. Maybe just maybe our offensive problems don't fall on the QB only maybe our line sucked and noone stepped up.
I know mett has no pocket presence but when the pocket collapses in 2 seconds its hard to make a play. IF LSU had aTm's line we would be playing ND for a championship.

No, we need a coach who knows how to properly develop a QB. You do remember the two QB scheme we just recently ran don't you? It's not the players!

I like Randall over bolden. More athletic and a stronger arm. None of this matters because it's mett and rivers on the depth chart.
