I haven't read ONE post where someone has said "the players hate Miles." Take your bullshite somewhere else. That's the sunshine pumpers spinning the story when someone calls out Miles' horrendous offense.
Numerous posters are saying the players hate Miles. I wouldn't have posted this if I hadn't seen it.

The Haters on the Rant probably never took a class at LSU, and deep down dont love LSU. They just root for the Tigers to beat other states....
Nice Ad Hominen attack. Clearly this is the case.

And this thread was more about Miles then TM7, but my feelings on him are this. TM taking responsibility for his actions is very respectable. It should give everyone closure to his LSU career. We should all root for the guy in the future and hope he does well in the NFL. No one should feel sorry for him, he made his mistakes and was held accountable for them. It sucked for LSU and it sucked for him, but its time to move on.

Hope the kid turns it around.

Get ready, in Colo ur bout to see a lot more.
I say that Colo is about to get a lot more b/c after made legal, more people will smoke that didn't before, and that's fine with me (better that than booze or pills, etc), if you read my posts. However, people like myself just would rather prepare them for a likely scenario that happens to many, many chronic tokers beforehand, rather than have it hit them upside the head and overwhelm them after the fact.
Please dont tell me that you've never heard of all the people, maybe not in ur circle, but ALL OVER the int complaining about the withdrawal and the addiction. If anyone reading this doubts it, just google "cannabis withdrawal/cannabis addiction" and read the multitudes.
Any discerning individual can ask any medical professional associated with mental health services or addiction about this and will receive plenty of information confirming my statements.

People generally struggle more with the lifestyle changes associated with quitting
And yes, trudat, all the more reason why pot is quite possibly the hardest to quit of them all. It has this component, which is the hardest part, along with the physical withdrawal for many (which makes them never get over the hump), and that part does last longer than all other drugs for the reasons I mentioned. And it is one of the few drugs that rarely brings one to a true "bottom", so they are able to still function somewhat in their addiction. This forces many to just accept it as a "doable" lifestyle. This is one of the biggest reasons why it is very hard to quit toking chronically once begun, for a person with a predisposed personal weakness for impulse control or addiction.
But again, as I mentioned before, this differs for different people with different unique reactions and body chemistry. It may not apply to you. But it applies to a large amount of people. If not, why are they checking into rehab so much. I guess you would tell them that's pointless.
Pot is a very complicated drug, more so than most, and it affects people differently under different circumstances and in different periods of their life and age, etc. The complications with its use and abuse cannot be painted with a broad brush.

I think that the whole "honey badger" superstar attention that he got was overwhelming. If I remember correctly, he had media attention from all over the world at one point, as crazy as that would be. That attention, to me, led to his downfall
Exactly. And check out the other thread on the interview that has the rest of the text from it where he vividly explains that this really messed with him. He said the Honey badger was not the real him and that he felt the pressure to be like this "character" which did not conform with his true identity off the field.
The media, through the public, does this to so many and it can so many times be the cause of their downfall. Especially to such a young vulnerable man.

Tyrann will always be a great Tiger. I wish him the best. I fully believe he will succeed in the NFL.

Numerous?? I haven't seen it. Everyone should know Miles' "like ability" is not the problem.

The full interview is now up, earlier it was only a minute and some change.

Part of me feels like he was an idiot for throwing it all away and smoking dope after repeatedly being given second, third and who knows..maybe even fourth chances. He deserves anything he gets.
But another side of me says that I (or any of us) should not judge him until we've walked in his shoes. The stardom he experienced had to be overwhelming....the persona he had to live up to eventually became too much for him to handle. Couple that with still having friends who were bad influences....so he turns to mary jane to drift off and relieve that pressure.
And therein lies the downfall. Seeing the interview was painful for me because I think he now truly realizes he had the world in front of him and he chose the wrong path. I believe that until you reach rock bottom...whatever your "bottom" is...only then will you open your eyes and see what a frickup you've become.
I feel like he's done that and sincerely wish him nothing but the best. He can really turn this into a great story if he never loses sight of where he once was and where he can end up in his life/career.
Tyrann - keep yourself grounded, surround yourself with good people (ie, PP7) and work your arse off like your life depends on it.
Because it does.
I believe you can.

I gained a ton of respect for Mathieu after watching that interview. Stepping up, accepting responsibility for himself, acknowledging his mistakes, and dedicating himself to making improvements. My hat's off to the man. That couldn't have been easy.
And I was also surprised at how articulate and well-spoken he was. Powerful interview.

Hope he finally has his shite together. Wish he could have finished out on the field for us.
Would love to see him on the field for the Dolphins or the Saints.
