That whole thing was stupid. The whole entire football team does drugs mostly. They do a lot worse than smoking weed. TM7 was the one that just kept failing drug test

Best of luck to Tyrann in his recovery and in his training for a pro career. He helped give LSU one of their best seasons in school history, and people are quick to forget his on-the-field accomplishments. His absence showed many times this season for the Tigers, when we were in need of a game-changing play on defense or special teams; he was severely missed.

While being in the spotlight has led to a highly scrutinized lifestyle, and constant ridicule from LSU and opposing fans alike, I for one, will never forget his short-lived tenure at LSU, and wish him the best as he prepares for a shot at the NFL.

I think that the whole "honey badger" superstar attention that he got was overwhelming. If I remember correctly, he had media attention from all over the world at one point, as crazy as that would be. That attention, to me, led to his downfall

This....he was very young. I hope he is a star in the NFL..he is #ForeverLSU

It's never too late, Tyrann. It looks like you are going about this the right way. Good luck.

U bring up some good points, even tho u r harsh. But u r not telling the whole story nor seeing the whole picture. U should try to look at things the way God (The Architect of The Universe) looks at them.

If u do this, u will see that what you say is right along with what else has been said being correct as well. Just b/c people attempt to explain the more complicated, mysterious, and paradoxical elements of the reality of these situations, doesn't mean they are any less important components of the objective truth than the parts you are referring to.

Perhaps you like to keep things simple, and many things are, but when speaking on humans, especially in the modern world, that simply just doesn't jive all the time if you want to know the Full Truth. Life is more complicated than that. Try to look at things thru God's eyes, not ur own. His are better, and you will see more. Just sayin.

P.S. If Tyrann geauxz onward to be the next Ray Lewis (not likely to that degree), will u still say that it would be best if he just "go away"? What if he rebounds greatly? Will that bring rewards to the public perspective of LSU?

Clearly, Patrick Peterson Tha Great sees something in Tyrann worth salvaging that you do not.

For me, I'm with PP on this one!

I will always be pulling for TM7. He has made me cheer! He has made me shake my head in disbelief..both for his on the field plays and his off the field conduct! The LSU fan in me will never give up on this kid. TM7, I pray that you stay straight, have a great career in the NFL and true LSU fans will always be cheering you on in that direction.

What's really sad is the way the NCAA or LSU whoever it is had this stupid policy that treats smoking weed which is on a par with underage drinking in such a draconian manner. I mean its not even a PED if anything it hinders it. While he clearly was stupid for doing it knowing the consequences, he's another victim in the misguided way we handle drug policy in this country focusing too hard on punishment for people like him. I'm not saying it should be ok or legal. But for weed I mean come on, maybe a short suspension eveytime your busted.
Are you saying TM7 was kicked off the team from Day 1 when it was found he was using? If so, I think you're highly inaccurate.

I clearly said that some do not experience this. But if you say that pot is not addictive and there are no physical withdrawal symptoms that many people experience than you have bought into one of the greatest all time myths regarding high THC quantity cannabis.

Tyrann was addicted and that's pretty obvious. And in fact, they are not lining up at clinics like u illustrate in ur extreme analogy, but people going to rehab for pot has exploded 10 fold in the past two decades in this country.

Get ready, in Colo ur bout to see a lot more. Every heavy pot toker I know has tried to quit so many times for so many years that they have just given up and have rather chosen to change their own perspective on reality rather than do the hard thing. And that's the denial, and its a very powerful thing.

Our brains were literally designed to be able to create much of our own reality. This is what Tryann did, til it rose up n bit him in the arse with consequences. I speak the truth on pot and from tremendous experience. Take it for what you will.

He said in the ESPN article he sees his career ending ala Ray Lewis.

What makes you say he wasn't using other drugs? Has anyone here seen the results of the drug tests? Does everyone rely on what rumors or leaked or what is reported in the media?

To Honey Badger Mathieu: I am glad you cleared the air and took responsibility. I know you were being helped and everyone wanted you in the LSU FB Family. But, you struggled with your ego and need for attention. It happens to the best.

If you learned anything that will make you avoid the ego-centrism and unnecessary mistakes, THEN LIFE WILL BE GOOD TO YOU. Excuse the platitude HB, BUT THAT'S LIFE AND SOMETIMES LIFE CAN BE A BEOTCH...

I didn't see the interview, but good to see him say that. On another note the dude had a billion fricking chances. It's not like he was a drug attic addicted to pot. Pot is not addictive. His head was too big and he thought he was invincible.

I'm gonna go ahead and say this is speak to get his name good for the NFL. I would like to see what he could do in the NFL. Should be fun to watch.

People in Colorado have been smoking high grade marijuana for more than 15 years. This isn't something new here. The medical marijuana industry has been around for something like 5 years. People in Amsterdam have been smoking high grade marijuana longer than anyone. I've never seen one of these reformed pot zombies laying on hospital gurneys in Colorado nor Amsterdam.

People generally struggle more with the lifestyle changes associated with quitting more so than giving up the marijuana high. Lifestyle changes don't typically make a person have extreme physical withdrawal symptoms either.

What is a drug attic?

Is it the opposite of a drug basement?
