Are you still enjoying American Horror Story?

Don't get me wrong, I think it's still a very good show, but there has to come a point where this thing is a little more organized. I mean, what is this show even about anymore? I really enjoyed the first season because it had different storylines, but they all tied together and there was a sort of flow to it.
It just seems like this thing is all over the place now and it tries to hard to go for shock value instead of any real sort of storyline.
Im pretty torn on it because season 1 was one of the best shows out there. I had pretty high hopes for season 2 and it delivered, plus some in the beginning. But at some point I need some substance to keep me around instead of random events every episode. Had there even been the same antagonist for two episodes?
Thoughts?

Season 1 has been worlds better

I don't think this season has been as good because the plot is too cluttered. Aliens and demons in the same season are a little much.

Haven't watched the last 5 or 6 episodes.
1st season was one of my absolute favorite shows.

I'm still enjoying the show. Season 1 may have been better but season 2 is a hell of a lot of fun. We got a freaking musical number this week LINK

I actually watched the 2nd season first, and just recently watched the 1st. Having a hard time getting back into season 2 after the hiatus.

I quit watching season 2. First season was great!

Couldnt agree more. Last season it was all I could talk about. I looked forward to season 2, but it's been a huge letdown.

I didn't even watch season one but started on season 2 because my girlfriend raved about the first season and said they weren't connected. I enjoyed the first few episodes but between the over the top gore and generally disturbing content now I just find it very difficult to watch. Really I feel as if I'm laboring through each episode rather than sitting back and enjoying it.

Haven't watched any of Season 2 yet. I've heard mixed things about it on here and from friends.
Season 1 was really incredible.

For me season 1 was better because I couldn't wait for the next episode because of the tension and open storylines. This season is more of watching just to see how far they go on the next episode.

I quit watching this garbage before the midway point in the first season. I tried watching a few episodes this season and hated this retarded show even more. I'll never comprehend the hype behind this catastrophe of a television series.

I don't think this season has been as good

I'm really starting to lose interest, but I will ride it the rest of the way out.
It started off strong, then I questioned it, then liked it again... But now I find myself just disappointed. As I said in the weekly thread, the writers had too many story lines working and took the easy way out last week Wrapped up 3 of them in one episode.
I started re-watching Season 1 the other day and I think it is hands down better than Season 2.

I really think they could have taken this particular season and rolled it into 2-3 and made it MUCH better.
There was tons of potential, but they were hamstrung by their "Each season is independent"
