wait....you're kidding, right?!?! you people are delusional! Do you recall the "I don't know who told him to clock it" press conference after the game...which coincided with the footage of him performing the "spiking" motion as you can read his lips saying "clock it clock it"? You people are like a bunch of battered women singing "stand by your man".

Ole Miss ’09 – the “clock it” fiasco

Refs fricked this up badly
yeah the refs called 3 straight passing plays when lsu was in already in field goal range. & the refs never stoped the clock when miles was yelling in their ear for 18 seconds untill there were 9 seconds left. yep the refs lost that game, not miles' stupidness.

What about the wins?

Come on man, don't live in the negative.

That being said, how many other programs would love to have our record during Miles' tenure?

You realize you listed 12 of his 21 total losses at LSU right?

Rankings at the time we played them are basically meaningless. How many wins does Miles have against teams that finished in the top 10? I really don't know.

I like how you blame Les for every year except 08 because you had a good copout

Wasn't Tenn '05 the game where Miles tried to call a time out at a change of possession? I remember Pelini sprinting down the sideline to grab Miles so that he wouldn't waste a time out.

My impression then was that Miles had better have a top flight assistant next to him on the sidelines during games or he would do something stupid. Pelini served that function until he left. Obviously, no one has replaced him.

Pelini coached from the sidelines. Chavis prefers to be in the box. Miles needs someone who can manage a game next to him on the sidelines.

Had forgot all about that one. You are exactly right if my memory serves me correct. So true, Miles right there showed that he had absolutely no concept of time management during a football game.

Tenn ’05 – His 1st loss. Ahead at halftime by 21 points, and by 17 in the 4th qtr. Starts the 2nd half by running Shyrone and Skyler exclusively, when they had a combined total of -3 yards on 1 carry in the 1st half. Result = fumble, and a Tenn TD. Goes on to lose in OT. We see the beginnings of Miles’ basic philosophy, “play not to lose.”

That game did suck to lose, but the problem was that half the D was in the locker room cramping. There were so many distractions and family members living with kids I don't blame this loss on him.

In 2010 arkansas finished in the top 15 and went to the sugar bowl. They were not unranked

Oh no, trust me, I blame Miles for MalVeto. Only the sunshine pumpers thought MalVeto was a good idea. Everyone I knew wondered who would make the final call if the co-coordinators disagreed on a playcall.

Also, Oregon was 3, we were 4. Arky was 3 also.

Not sure if it was preseason, BCS, or what but I have all 3 games.

With us playing Arky late and possibly even Bama, I'd say that was the BCS rankings and the Oregon game was preseason rankings for both teams.

Look it up on youtube if you think I'm lying.

Not sure what you're trying to prove here. That Miles is stubborn? I don't think anyone will disagree with you on that.

However, I fail to see the need to drive the man's name in the ground because we lost by 1 point.
