Kevin Minter on Miles

He (just like our other players) really seems fed up w the man (sarcasm).
"I'll ride or die with Coach Miles," says Minter by phone, who made an incredible 19 tackles in the loss, "There's a reason I went there to play. He's a great man. Any time you're a high profile coach like him, you're going to get scrutinized."

If most of our fans had half the sense that Minter has, the Rant would be a much more tolerable place. Best of luck Kevin, we gonna miss you!

Now in return for the favor Minter did for Miles by saying that Miles will have nothing but great things to say to scouts about him.

Minter played for The Chief. Miles was hands off on the defense. Minter produced and thrived at LSU thanks to Chavis and had a good experience. He is talking from his perspective. Just like Shep, Lee, and Randle spoke from theirs. I am not saying one is right and another is wrong but everybody has their own perception.

He's on the defensive side of the ball. Miles doesn't get a chance to ruin him.

How did "our offense sucks Miles needs to take his hands off of it and hire a new oc" turn into "ALL the players hate Miles??" You sunshine pumpers spin a story better than Fox News.

Look, I'll tell you what
Of course Minter loves Miles. Things have worked out for Mr Minter and he totally deserves all the success. He'll likely get drafted high, make millions and take care of his family. He has no reason to say shite bout Miles. Good for him, he happened to be there when Chavis was there and worked hard to develop into a top talent.
Now, the rest of his equally talented team mates were not so lucky. They weren't developed into big talents, they weren't given a clear path to success or coaching needed to make it to the next level. They were told to play like champions, hit hard and 'compete' for victory, but nobody showed them how. Most of them were rotated in and out so fast that they didn't even have time to settle down and develop.

No one said he's a bad guy. In fact, it's the one quality everyone on this board can agree on.

So Reuben Randle, Terrance Toliver, Brandon Lafell, T-Bob Hebert, etc.
None of their negative opinions and/or statements about Miles count? Only the ones with positive things to say?

Out of everyone that is leaving early, he will be the most missed
