Players shouldn't be able to leave early.

Juniors, and worse RS Sophomores (why, Brockers, why?) leaving for the NFL is by far my biggest sports-related pet peeve. It shows a lack of commitment on the part of the player as well as a lack of caring about the players on the part of the NFL. I really think it would address a lot of issues if the league made a 4-year college degree and SENIOR classification mandatory in order to be draft eligible.

You could kiss college football goodbye
They would just create a minor league for football to develop players and then college fans would be stuck watching frat boy football

For believing in living out one's commitment to the school that has given them a chance? Okay.

Stupid idea, many guys are ready after 3 years and college isn't their career, AFTER college is what their career is. Why deny them what they want to do?

schollies are year to year brah. not a four year contract.

Yeah, it makes no since for a young adult to pass on a million dollars

So, if you were at job A on a four year contract with zero salary and the only benefit you got was a one bedroom apartment and free work supplies, then got an opportunity to go to job B based on their management's evaluation of you at a salary starting out at $1 million a year and you accepted, could we criticize you for a lack of caring about job A?

How about them giving us a chance over dozens of other schools they could go to?
It's stupid to have a senior only rule, these kids have careers to think about and if they are satisfied with where their draft position is after 3 years then they should be able to leave if they want. RBS especially because RB career are very short, them staying another in college is just costing them another year (or worse) in the NFL.

Don't you guys ever feel cheated when your team misses out on what would probably be a player's best year in football? Just think about it guys... No way McCarron marches down the field like that with Claiborne and Brockers out there, even if he had TRich.
EDIT: Brainfart, Brooks was a Senior
